Rumi Hara is a cartoonist and illustrator born in Kyoto in 1982. She grew up in Osaka and Atlanta among other places and lived and worked in New York City until recently. She is currently based out of a lovely island in Onomichi, working on a series of Comic-ku (haiku comics) and other new stories.
Rumi is the author of the award-winning books Nori and The Peanutbutter Sisters and Other American Stories.
